The Lawrenceville-Duluth Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., will host its Inaugural Golf Tournament on Saturday March 29, 2014. The event will be held at the Trophy Club of Apalachee 1008 Dacula Rd, Dacula GA 30019. The proceeds from this tournament will aid our 2014 goal to provide 20 high school seniors a $1000 scholarship.
The registration cost is $125 per player and $400 per team. The event will include a 4-person scramble with prizes, awards and a reception following the golf tournament.
As a sponsor, your name will be placed on all material and banners that publicize the event as well as announced verbally at the tournament. Your contribution is tax deductible and will help our scholarship fund.

As an organization whose fundamental purpose is to encourage ACHIEVEMENT in every field of human endeavor, the Lawrenceville-Duluth Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated, has partnered with its Foundation to develop a scholarship that recognizes African American male students of Gwinnett County Public Schools who are leaving a living legacy at their respective high schools based on his academic excellence, leadership, and/or community service.
The fraternity will award twenty scholarships of $1,000 each to local African American male high school seniors in the Gwinnett County area who are pursuing a post-secondary education for a total of $20000! Applicants must have a minimum of a 2.5 GPA, and show promise as a leader or positive contributor to society as evidenced by his involvement in extra- or co-curricular activities to include leadership in student organizations, athletics, community service, or civic engagement.
