The LDAC Foundation Scholarship Application Process is officially open.
The deadline to apply is March 31st, 2022.
As an organization whose fundamental purpose is to encourage ACHIEVEMENT in every field of human endeavor, the Lawrenceville-Duluth Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated, has partnered with its Foundation to develop a scholarship that recognizes African American male students of Gwinnett County Public Schools who are leaving a living legacy at their respective high schools based on his academic excellence, leadership, and/or community service.
To our graduating seniors:
Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated continues its tradition of assisting and encouraging African American male students in education, community service, and leadership. To that end, the LDAC Foundation plans to award $20,000 in scholarships to eligible high school seniors in Gwinnett County Public Schools who are pursuing post-secondary education. To date, we have awarded more than $230,000 in scholarships to African American Male Students in the Gwinnett County Public School System.
Applicants must have a minimum of a 2.5 GPA, and show promise as a leader or positive contributor to society as evidenced by his involvement in extra- or co-curricular activities to include leadership in student organizations, athletics, community service, or civic engagement.
